摘要： It relates to a process of decontamination of a cellulose recovered waste stream to obtain a decontaminated cellulose stream that can be converted into fermentable sugars. The decontamination process comprises first, submitting the recovered cellulosic waste stream to an alkaline treatment. The process may also comprise submitting the treated cellulose to a saccharification process to obtain a hydrolysate which comprises fermentable sugars. Finally, the invention may also comprise the fermentation process.
