摘要： Disclosed is a mutant strain having the ability to produce polyhydroxybutyrate. The novel strain has a significantly high growth rate and an improved ability to produce PHB compared to existing PHB-producing cyanobacterial strains. Therefore, the novel strain is suitable for use in the production of PHB and the development of various products using PHB. In addition, the novel strain is useful as a photosynthetic strain for developing a PHB production process using industrial flue gas due to its ability to produce PHB from only CO 2 without any additional organic carbon source. Also disclosed is a method for producing polyhydroxybutyrate using the mutant strain.

摘要： The present invention relates a method for obtaining a storage stable polymer substrate-enzyme complex comprising:
a) providing a three-dimensional polymer structure comprising polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) or a copolymer thereof,
b) contacting the three-dimensional polymer structure of step a) with at least one polyhydroxybutyrate degrading enzyme in a solvent to form a three-dimensional polymer structure-enzyme complex, and
c) reversibly decreasing the enzymatic activity of the least one polyhydroxybutyrate degrading enzyme.-

The decontamination process comprises first, submitting the recovered cellulosic waste stream to an alkaline treatment. The process may also comprise submitting the treated cellulose to a saccharification process to obtain a hydrolysate which comprises fermentable sugars.
