摘要: The disclosure provides a Femtocell network system coexistent with a universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS) network and the deadzone effect alleviating method thereof. For each femto access point (FAP) in the Femtocell network system, a minimum transmission power is pre-configured. When an inadmissible user equipment (UE) performs a location update or a handoff process to obtain the access right to a closed FAP, at least a FAP gateway may estimate the probable existence of deadzone via the UE location update or handoff procedure. Before the inadmissible UE reaches the deadzone of the closed FAP, the transmission power of the closed FAP is decreased repeatedly to allow the inadmissible UE to receive the signals and messages from the UMTS network, until the closed FAP reaches a threshold of its minimum transmission power.

摘要: A RACH-less HO method for a UE(120,420,1020) in a NTN system is provided, including: receiving a HO command from a source cell(411, 1011), wherein the HO command includes a RACH-less HO configuration and a RACH-based HO configuration associated with one of cells of the NTN system, wherein the RACH-less HO configuration includes a RACH-less available time and a UL transmission resource; determining a target cell(412,1012) according to the at least one cell configured by the HO command; performing a UL resource selection procedure to obtain a target UL transmission resource associated with the target cell(412,1012) for performing a target UL transmission to the target cell(412,1012); performing a HO confirmation procedure with the target cell(412,1012) by applying a UL timing adjustment information associated with the target UL transmission resource to perform the target UL transmission to the target cell(412,1012).

摘要: A method of non-terrestrial network (NTN) communication and a user equipment (UE) using the same method are provided. The method includes: receiving a cell change command comprising re-synchronization information (S1501); and performing a re-synchronization procedure according to the re-synchronization information, wherein the re-synchronization information comprising at least one of the following:a re-synchronization time; ephemeris information associated with a target cell; timing advance adjustment information associated with the target cell; a timing advance command value associated with the target cell; and a re-synchronization indication for indicating the UE to perform the re-synchronization procedure, wherein the re-synchronization procedure comprises a downlink re-synchronization procedure (S1502).
