    摘要: Methods and apparatuses are described herein that facilitate mesh network communication by a millimeter wave base stations (mBs) or WTRUs as nodes of a directional mesh network with other nodes of the directional mesh network. The mB or WTRU may include a directional antenna configured to transmit and receive signals in specific directions during the mesh network communication to define a directional mesh network. The mBs or WTRUs may transmit transmission request messages to neighbor nodes, wherein the transmission request messages include transmission slot allocation bitmaps and channel quality indicator information (CQI). Then response messages from the neighbor nodes may be received, wherein the response messages include receive slot allocation bitmaps and resource allocation decisions. The mBs or WTRUs may then update their transmission slot allocation bitmaps based on the received response messages and transmit data packets in specific directions based on the updated transmission slot allocation bitmap.

    摘要: A system and methods for performing phased reconfiguration in a wireless communications system are disclosed. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may perform a phased reconfiguration from a source cell to a target cell. The WTRU may be connected to the source cell and may execute a first set of functions towards the source cell. The WTRU may monitor for a first set of preconfigured trigger conditions and a second set of preconfigured trigger conditions. The WTRU may commence a second set of functions towards the target cell based on detection of at least one of the first set of preconfigured trigger conditions while continuing to execute the first set of functions towards the source cell. The WTRU may cease to perform at least a subset of the first set of functions towards the source cell based on detection of at least one of the second set of preconfigured trigger conditions.

A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may enter into a DRX state on a first cell layer. The WTRU may transmit, on a second cell layer, a DRX indication of the first cell layer. The WTRU may receive, on the second cell layer, a deactivation signal corresponding to the first cell layer. The WTRU may deactivate, based on the deactivation signal received on the second cell layer, the first cell layer. The WTRU may receive, on the second cell layer, an activation signal corresponding to the first, cell layer. The WTRU, based on the activation signal, may activate the first cell layer.
