摘要:
A method of isomerizing a hydrocarbon, comprising, in the presence of hydrogen, bringing a hydrocarbon containing C7 or C8 saturated hydrocarbons (known as heavy naphtha) in a proportion of 50 wt.% or more into contact with a solid acid catalyst having a platinum group metal component borne on a support, the support comprising as metal components at least one Group IV metal component selected from the group consisting of titanium, zirconium and hafnium and at least one Group VI metal component selected from the group consisting of tungsten and molybdenum. This isomerization is preferably performed at 190 to 250 ° C under a pressure of 0.8 to 10 MPa. With respect to the catalyst, a solid acid catalyst wherein the support further comprises aluminum as a metal component is preferably used.

A catalyst for hydrofining treatment which comprises a carrier comprising a porous inorganic oxide, 0.1 to 25 wt % of at least one metal element being active for hydrogenation selected from among the elements belonging to Groups 6, 8, 9 and 10 of the Periodic Table and 0.1 to 3 wt % of potassium, wherein the metal element being active for hydrogenation has a concentration distribution such that its concentration is higher at central portions of the catalyst than in outer regions and the potassium component has a concentration distribution such that its concentration is higher in outer regions than in central portions. The catalyst is free from the problem that pores present in the surface region of the catalyst are blocked by metal-containing components contained in hetero compound components and thus allows the hetero compound components to diffuse into the inside of grains thereof, which results in keeping a high catalytic activity for a long period of time.
摘要:
A hydrotreating catalyst for heavy oil, comprising an alumina carrier and both a Group 6 metal component and a Group 9 or 10 metal component supported on the carrier. The alumina carrier contains 0.5 to 20 wt.% (based on the catalyst) of silica, which is dispersed therein in the form of silica particles having a mean particle diameter of 0.05 to 1 mu m. The catalyst has a pore diameter distribution of pore diameters of 600 ANGSTROM or below and a median pore diameter of 70 ANGSTROM to less than 150 ANGSTROM . The catalyst exerts excellent desulfurization and denitrification characteristics for a long period when used in hydrotreating hydrometallized heavy oil.
