    摘要: According to one embodiment, a structure evaluation system includes at least three or more sensors, a position locator, and an evaluator. The three or more sensors are arranged on surfaces different from a surface to which an impact is applied with respect to a structure at different intervals in a first direction of the structure and a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and detects elastic waves generated from the structure. The position locator locates a position of a source in which the elastic waves are generated on the basis of the elastic waves detected by each of the three or more sensors. The evaluator evaluates a deterioration state of the structure on the basis of information based on a position location process of the position locator and information indicating a position where the impact is applied.

    摘要: An optical disk apparatus is capable of reproducing information from an optical disk 10. The optical disk apparatus mainly includes an illuminating unit which is formed from a semiconductor laser 14, a collimator lens 15, a polarization light beam splitter (PBS) 16 and a quarter-wave plate 17, as well as an objective lens 18, that focuses a light beam onto the optical disk 10; a two-segment split photo detector 21 which detects the light beam reflected by the optical disk 10; and a signal processing circuit 27 which processes a signal obtained by the two-segment split photo detector 21 to output a signal for reproduction. Here, the optical disk 10 has a recording region on which recording information can be stored along a first line and a header field on which reproducible information is stored along a second line, the second line being shifted from the first line a predetermined distance, the illuminating unit focusing the light beam along the first line, and the two-segment split photo detector 21 having two detecting areas 22a and 22b on opposite sides of a line parallel to the reflected image of the first line position. The signal processing circuit 27 is capable of processing a difference and a sum signal by using values detected in the detecting areas 22a and 22b, and it outputs one of those to serve as a playback signal reflecting a characteristic of the optical disk 10.

    摘要: According to an embodiment, a detection system includes a plurality of sensor nodes and a sensor module. The plurality of sensor nodes detects sound waves generated from a prestressed concrete and converts the detected sound waves into detection signals. The sensor module is connected to the plurality of sensor nodes and receives the detection signals. The plurality of sensor nodes includes the sensor nodes in an operating state and the sensor nodes in a dormant state in which power consumption is held down as compared to the operating state. When magnitude of the detection signals is equal to or greater than a first threshold value, the sensor module switches the sensor node in the dormant state to the operating state.
