摘要： A cleaning composition that can discharge the color of blood, menstrual fluids, or other organic stains is provided. In particular, the present invention achieves a balance between control of unwanted liquid spreading by lateral wicking on a stained textile fabric to lessen the size of wet spots and maintaining the cleaning efficacy of the composition by means of specific kinds of thickening agents. The composition includes an oxidizing agent such as peroxides, a cell-lysing agent, a chelating agent, an antioxidant, a thickener, and other optional ingredients that are selectively employed to achieve an aqueous based composition that exhibits good shelf stability and stain removal properties. The thickening agent may include a cellulosic or clay material, starch, gum, fatty acid, fatty alcohol, hydrophilic colloidal particles, polyoxyethylene glycol or polyoxyethylene glycol derivatives including fatty acid esters and ethers, or a combination thereof.

摘要： A decolorizing composition that can discharge the color of blood, menses, or other stains is provided. More specifically, a peroxide, cell lysing agent, chelating agent, antioxidant, and other optional ingredients are selectively employed to achieve an aqueous composition that exhibits good shelf stability and stain removal properties. The composition, for example, may maintain about 70% or more, in some embodiments about 80% or more, and in some embodiments, about 90% or more of its initial hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) content subsequent to being aged at ambient temperature (~25°C) for 2 weeks.

摘要： Foamable compositions are disclosed. The compositions contain one or more active ingredients combined with a foaming agent and optionally one or more surface tension adjusting agents. The foaming agent may comprise, for instance, a derivatized dimethicone. The surface tension adjusting agent, on the other hand, comprises a chemical species that either increases or decreases the surface tension of the composition within a desired range so that the composition is readily foamable. In this manner, active ingredients can be incorporated into the compositions that are typically hard to foam. Such ingredients include cleaning solvents and various skin care agents. Of particular advantage, foamable compositions can be formulated in accordance with the present disclosure that contain relatively small amounts of water such as less than about 20 percent by weight, such as less than about 10 percent by weight. !n other embodiments, the composition can be completely anhydrous.

摘要： Foamable sanitizing compositions are disclosed. The compositions contain alcohol, water, a foaming agent, and a foam strengthening agent. The foaming agent which may comprise a derivatized dimethicone has been found to cause the alcohol solution to foam even though alcohol has various defoaming properties. The foam strengthening agent may comprise, for instance, a betaine that contains organic molecules wherein at least 90% of the organic molecules have a carbon chain length of 18 carbon atoms or greater. In one embodiment, the composition can be contained in a non-aerosol dispensing container that mixes the composition with air causing the composition to foam when dispensed.
