摘要: A braking system for a twin tire axle of a long-haul commercial vehicle is disclosed. The twin tire axle couples to rims (50) for the twin tires and to a driving engine. The braking system includes: a gearbox (110) with at least one part configured to be attached to the rims (50); a shaft (120) configured to connect the gear box (110) with the drive engine; and a brake unit (130) configured to brake a rotating part (132) of the braking system that is rotatable at a higher rotational speed than the rims (50). The gearbox (110) and at least part of the brake unit (130) are adapted to be placed inside the rims (50) of the twin tires.

摘要: A method for analysing the wear behaviour of brake linings of a brake system has at least the following steps: a) making available a brake system with at least one or more brakes, each with one or more brake linings (6a, 6b) which each have a lining carrier plate (10, 11) and a friction lining composed of at least two or more friction material layers (12, 13) which are composed of different friction materials; and at least one evaluation device (8); b) determining the wear which is brought about per brake during braking operations with at least one wear sensor per brake; c) determining the braking energy which is brought about per brake during braking operations with the evaluation device; d) repeated determination of an instantaneous gradient of a curve which relates the values determined in steps b) and c) and preferably a route information item to one another; and e) outputting a signal at an output device if the gradient changes.

摘要: A brake disk cover for a brake disk of a disk brake, which is disposed on a component of a vehicle that is rotationally fixed during travel and which encloses the circumferential edge of the brake disk with a radius preferably in a trough-like fashion in sections. Two side wall areas (6, 7) are located on axial side sections of the brake disk to be covered that are directly opposite each other, wherein the side wall areas cover at least a partial area of the axial sides of the brake disk, and a base wall area (8) connecting said side wall areas is provided, which covers the circumferential edge of the brake disk. The side wall areas (6, 7) are oriented at an angle to each other such that the distance between said two side wall areas (6, 7) decreases radially from the inner circumferential edge of the side wall area to the outer circumferential edge of the brake disk cover. Preferably, the brake disk cover has a surface contour that does not follow mathematical symmetry.
