摘要: According to one embodiment, a pattern discrimination device includes a detector configured to detect, in a landmark included in an input image of a front side of a vehicle from an imaging device that is disposed in the vehicle, a first area, and a second area having a higher surface reflection luminance than, or having a different surface reflectance from, the first area; a storage unit configured to store landmark pattern information discriminated from shapes and positions of the first area and the second area, and rail information in a traveling direction of the vehicle, the rail information being correlated with the landmark pattern information; and a specifying unit configured to acquire, from the storage unit, the rail information corresponding to the landmark pattern information corresponding to the first area and the second area detected by the detector.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a recording medium is a recording medium in a card form. 摘要: According to one arrangement, a ranging apparatus includes a light source (23), a movable mirror (251), a light sensor (26), a measurement circuit (27), and a first control circuit (21). The movable mirror reflects each of first and second laser lights. The second laser light corresponds to the first laser light reflected by an external subject. The light sensor detects the second laser light reflected by the movable mirror. The measurement circuit measures a distance to the subject based on a timing of emission of the first laser light by the light source and a timing of detection of the second laser light by the light sensor. The first control circuit changes an emission direction of the first laser light based on a first signal from outside.

摘要: According to one arrangement, a ranging device includes a light source, an optical sensor, a measurement circuit, and a control circuit. The light source is configured to emit first laser light. The optical sensor is configured to detect second laser light corresponding to the first laser light reflected by an external subject. The measurement circuit is configured to measure a distance to the subject based on a timing at which the light source emits the first laser light and a timing at which the optical sensor detects the second laser light. The control circuit is configured to control a number of ranging points indicating a number of distances measured per unit time by the measurement circuit in a predetermined area within an angle of view of the ranging device.
