摘要： An implantable blood filter system is provided. The implantable blood filter system includes an anchor fixedly implantable in a blood vessel of a patient; a metallic induction coil fixedly attached to the anchor; a filter fixedly attached to the induction coil or the anchor; and an external inductance measurement device. The filter includes a number of gaps having a gap size. The gap size is selected such that blood cells can pass through the gaps, and an embolus in contact with the filter cannot pass through the gaps. Thus, the embolus is captured by the filter. The external inductance measurement device is configured to detect whether an embolus has been captured by the filter.

摘要： An implantable blood filter system is provided. The system includes an anchor fixedly implantable in a blood vessel of a patient, a filter fixedly attached to the anchor; and an external ultrasound measurement device. The filter includes a plurality of gaps of which size is selected such that blood cells can pass through the gaps, but an embolus in contact with the filter cannot pass through the gaps. The external ultrasound measurement device is configured to detect whether the embolus has been captured by the filter.
