摘要: A wearable system is for mounting against the skin of a subject. It comprises a flexible circuit board (20) sandwiched (e.g. laminated) between a top layer (30) and a base layer (12). The flexible circuit board has a meander section (26) between end pads (22, 24). The base layer and the top layer are bonded together by a bonding layer (40) which has a meander opening (42) around the meander section. This means the stretchability of the meander section is not inhibited by the lamination process.

摘要: There is provided a device (100) operable to pair with one or more other devices and a method of operating the device (100). The device (100) comprises a light detector (102) configured to detect a coded light signal from at least one light source that is separate to the one or more other devices. The coded light signal comprises information associated with the one or more other devices. The device (100) also comprises a processor (104) configured to decode the coded light signal that is detected by the light detector (102) to extract the information associated with the one or more other devices and pair the device (100) with at least one of the one or more other devices using the extracted information.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to enhanced sampling of bioanalytes from bodily fluids using wearable and/or insertable devices. In some embodiments, an apparatus (100, 500, 600) for sampling bioanalyte(s) in tissue (107, 507, 607) may include: a base (102, 502, 602) having conduit(s) adapted to receive fluid extracted from the tissue; microneedles (106, 306, 506, 606) fluidly coupled with the conduit(s) and adapted to be pierced into the tissue; a plurality of individually-controllable energy emitters (112, 114, 350, 612, 614); and logic (90) operably coupled with the plurality of individually-controllable energy-emitters. The logic may be adapted to operate a subset of the plurality of individually-controllable energy emitters to apply energy at a first subset of the microneedles to induce bioanalyte flow through tissue towards the first subset or a second subset of the microneedles, or through the first subset or a second subset of the microneedles.

摘要: The present invention relates to a phototherapy system comprising an LED carrier (10) for being arranged on or under a subject (100), a set (12; 24, 26; 36) of LEDs (13; 23, 25; 33, 35), wherein at least a first subset (12; 24; 34) of LEDs (13; 23; 33) of said set is arranged in or at the LED carrier (10), a control unit (15) for controlling one or more LEDs (13; 23; 33) of said first subset (12; 24; 34) to switch between an emission mode, in which an LED emits electromagnetic radiation in the direction of the subject, and a detection mode, in which an LED generates a detection signal in dependence on the electromagnetic radiation incident on the LED, and a position determination unit (16) for determining the position of a subject with respect to the LED carrier based on the detection signals of one or more LEDs (13; 23; 33) of said first subset (12; 24; 34) in the detection mode, wherein the control unit (15) is configured to control one or more LEDs (13; 23, 25; 33, 35) to switch into the emission mode based on the determined position of the subject such that their emitted electromagnetic radiation provides phototherapy for the subject. A vital signs determination unit (17) is provided for determining one or more vital signs of the subject from one or more detection signals generated by one or more LEDs of said first subset.
