摘要: A beauty device includes a suction-type composite handpiece that can be fixed to the skin and can automatically massage the skin. The beauty device may include a main body and a plurality of suction-type composite handpieces. Each handpiece includes a suction part, a contact part, radio frequency (RF) terminals, electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) terminals, a temperature sensor, and a cooling part. The suction part has a suction housing for sucking the skin to inside and massaging the skin based on a suction pressure pattern. The contact part protrudes from a lower outer peripheral surface of the suction housing. The RF terminals output RF energy and are formed along an edge where an inner surface of the suction housing and a lower surface of the contact part meet. The EMS terminals output EMS and are arranged to cross between the RF terminals. The temperature sensor is located inside the suction housing and detects a temperature of the skin sucked into the suction housing. The cooling part is located inside the suction housing and lowers the temperature of the skin sucked into the suction housing.

摘要: The embodiments and methods described herein relate to an improved functional electrical stimulation (FES) orthosis. An apparatus can include a frame assembly, an electrode assembly, and an electric stimulator. The frame assembly is removably coupleable to a portion of a limb. The electrode assembly is configured to be in electrical communication with a portion of a neuromuscular system of the limb, and includes first and second sets of electrodes. The electric stimulator is in electrical communication with the electrode assembly. The electric stimulator is configured to send a first signal substantially during a first time period and via a first channel to the first set of electrodes for stimulation of a neuromuscular system of the limb, and is configured to send a second signal, during at least one of the first time period or a subsequent second time period, via a second channel to the second set of electrodes for stimulation of the neuromuscular system of the limb.
