摘要: The present invention relates to a button-type secondary battery, and more particularly, to a button-type secondary battery, which has strong coupling so that a gas that is harmful to the human body does not leak to the outside of the battery even though an excessive internal pressure is generated by the gas generated inside the battery, and an electrolyte does not leak to the outside of the battery, is improved in a vacuum ratio occupied by an electrode assembly within the battery to maximize battery capacity and energy density, and is simplified and convenient in manufacturing process to improve production efficiency.
The button-type secondary battery according to the present invention relates to a button-type secondary battery, of which a diameter is greater than a height, comprises: an electrode assembly; a lower can in which the electrode assembly is inserted and on which a first screw thread is formed on an outer circumferential surface thereof; an upper can which is configured to cover an opening of an upper end of the lower can and on which a second screw thread corresponding to the first screw thread is formed on an inner circumferential surface thereof; and an insulator interposed between the upper can and the lower can to prevent the upper can and the lower can from being short-circuited, wherein the electrode assembly is formed by stacking a plurality of first electrodes, a separator, and a second electrode in a horizontal direction, and a first electrode tab extending from the first electrodes of the electrode assembly is in contact with the upper can.-

摘要: The present invention relates to a button-type secondary battery, and more particularly, to a button-type secondary battery, which is capable of collecting a gas within the battery even if an excessive internal pressure is generated by the gas generated in the battery to prevent the battery from being disassembled or prevent a gas that is harmful to the human body from leaking to the outside of the battery by the gas pressure and to block a flow of current when necessary in a situation in which overcurrent or an internal high pressure occurs, thereby significantly securing safety of the battery.
A button-type secondary battery according to the present invention relates to a button-type secondary battery having a diameter greater than a height thereof, the button-type secondary battery including: an electrode assembly; a lower can into which the electrode assembly is inserted; and an upper can configured to cover an opening of an upper end of the lower can, wherein a beading part recessed inward is provided in an upper portion of the lower can, and the upper end of the lower can disposed above the beading part has a bent shape and configured to surround an edge end of the upper can so that the upper can and the lower can are coupled to each other.-

The button-type secondary battery according to the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly formed by alternately stacking electrodes and separators; a can case in which the electrode assembly is accommodated in the inner accommodating space thereof; and an electrode tab having one side connected to the electrodes of the electrode assembly and the other side connected to the can case by welding, wherein a welding pattern appearing in a welded portion where the electrode tab is welded to the can case includes a circular shape and an additional shape in addition to the circular shape.

The pre-forming perimeter surface has an inner radius that increases from a base end toward a leading end elongated in a pressing direction. The bend inducing surface connects to the base end of the pre-forming perimeter surface, and extends inwards, in the radial direction.

In the present invention having the above configuration, since the welding is performed after being seated on the point at which the end of the edge of the plate meets the upper end of the sidewall, the welding may be more stably performed to improve the welding quality.-
