摘要: Disclosed is a feature that contributes to an improvement in the attachment to an impact tool of a dust collection device that is attached to the impact tool and that collects dust particles that said impact tool generates. The dust collection device (140) collects dust that the impact tool (101) generates and is attached to said impact tool (101) that, in the lengthwise direction, linearly operates a tool bit (119) that is mounted to the tip region of a tool body (103). The dust collection device (140) has a dust collection unit (141, 143) that has a dust intake port (141a) at the tip; and a dust transfer unit (146) that is connected with the dust collection unit (141, 143) in order to transfer dust sucked in from the dust intake port (141a) towards the downstream side. The dust collection unit (141, 143) is held by the shaft section (119b) of the tool bit (119), and the dust transfer unit (146) is held by the tool body (103).

The position ofthe dust collection unit (141) is freely selected around the long axis ofthe tool bit, and it is possible to cause the position to change around the long axis of the bit.

The dust collection device (104) has a dust collection unit (141) that has a dust intake port (141a) at the tip; a dust collection hose (146) that is connected to the dust collection unit (141) and that is for transferring dust to the downstream side; and a hose-holding unit (147) that holds the dust collection hose (146). A representative power tool which performs a predetermined operation by linear motion of a tool bit (119) in its axial direction has a tool body (103), a tool holder (137) that holds the tool bit (119) in its front end region and extends in the axial direction of the tool bit, and an elastic element (155). A rear region of the tool holder (137) opposite from the front end region extends into the tool body (103), and in the extending region, the tool holder (137) is coupled to the tool body (103) such that the tool holder can rotate about a pivot (P) on a z-axis defined by an axis of the tool bit, in directions of y- and x-axes which intersect with the z-axis. The elastic element (155) applies a biasing force to the tool holder (137) in such a manner as to hold the tool holder (137) in a predetermined position or an initial position with respect to the tool body (103).

[Means for Solving the Problem] The invention provides a power tool which includes a tool bit, a first operating mechanism that linearly drives the tool bit and thereby causes the tool bit to perform a predetermined operation, and a dynamic vibration reducer 151 that reduces vibration in the operation of the tool bit. The dynamic vibration reducer includes a weight 153 that can linearly move under the action of biasing forces of a plurality of biasing springs 157 acting upon the weight 153 toward each other. The weight 153 is driven by a second operating mechanism 116 that mechanically excites at least one of the elastic elements, via the elastic element.
