摘要： The invention relates to a device used in parallel microsynthesis. Microcompartments that are open on both sides are disposed in a flat arrangement in a microcompartment matrix (4) and are hermetically closed by pressure exerted on both sides by plungers (6) that are covered by a sealing film (11). A layer, produced from elastic material (9) and disposed between the plunger (6) and the sealing film (11), ensures that a continuous pressure is exerted on all microcompartments of the microcompartment matrix (4) that is loosely retained by a frame structure (1). Elevations (2) that project in both directions vertically to the plane of the microcompartment matrix (4) prevent the deformable thin layer from elastic material (9) from escaping laterally between the plunger (6) and the microcompartment matrix (4) while pressure is exerted. A plurality of microcompartment matrices (4) are simultaneously retained by the frame structure (1) and are hermetically closed by a corresponding number of associated plungers (6) that are fastened on a base plate (7) or a cover plate (8).

摘要： A positioning device for glass microtiter plates (3) has a holding frame (1) with a support surface (2). Once introduced, the microtiter plate (3) is held in the position provided for it in the holding frame (1) by spring-like snap-in pins (5). Inwardly protruding projections (6) prevent the microtiter plate (3) from accidentally falling out of the holding frame (1). A continuous recess (7) in the area of the support surface (2) enables the microtiter plate (3) to be observed freely from both sides.

摘要： A device for carrying out the parallel incubation of solutions comprises a holding frame (1) inside of which one or more titer plates (2) can be placed. Each titer plate (2) is separately closed by a cover plate (4), which can be pressed thereon, resulting in the prevention of unwanted evaporation effects and transport phenomena. Seals (5) are placed between the cover plate (4) and the holding frame (1). Continuous recesses in the holding frame (1) are located underneath the titer plates (2) and are occluded by a common one-piece bottom plate (7) having punch-like protrusions (6). Devices for regulating temperature can be arranged both inside the cover plate (4), the holding frame (1) as well as inside the one-piece bottom plate (7). The holding frame (1) comprises channel-like recesses for accommodating liquid solvent.

摘要： Troublesome evaporative effects occur in a solution decanted in microchambers when chemical substances are pipetted into individual microchambers in an array (4) thereof. In order to prevent such undesirable evaporative effects, the inventive pipette device for automatic pipetting of chemical substances is provided with at least one holder (3) receiving a microchamber array and the moveably arranged head of the pipette (11) is embodied in such a way that it is secured to a plate (7) with the aid of a holding device which follows the movements of the pipette head (11) during the pipetting process. The plate (7) forms an enclosed gas chamber (14) above the microchamber array (4) in conjunction with a frame (5) which surrounds the microchamber array (4) in a tight manner. The pipette head juts out into the gas chamber via an appropriate opening (13) in the plate (7).
