摘要:
Conventionally, the temperature of a cell rises to above 100°C if an inside short-circuit occurs and a large short-circuit current flows and generates heat. Therefore the temperature further rises because of the heat and hence the short-circuit current further increases. A cell according to the invention free from the problem and having an improved performance, comprises an electron conductive material the resistance of which increases with temperature and one of an electrode containing a predetermined amount of a conduction assisting agent, an electrode in which the ratio of the total amount of an electrode conductive material and a conduction assisting agent to that of an active material is a predetermined value, and an electrode in which the ratio of the particle size of a conduction assisting agent to that of an electron conductive material lies in a predetermined range.

A corrosion protection performance degradation detection sensor (7) detects a change in concentration of a corrosion inhibitor, which inhibits corrosion of a corrosion protection object material, added and contained in a solvent. The corrosion protection performance degradation detection sensor (7) includes a detection electrode (1) that reacts with the corrosion inhibitor dissolved in the solvent and forms on a surface thereof an electrode surface film which inhibits corrosion, a counter electrode (2) that is disposed so as to face the detection electrode (1) with a predetermined distance therebetween, and an AC power supply (3) that applies an AC voltage with a predetermined frequency and a predetermined voltage between the detection electrode (1) and the counter electrode (2). A change in concentration of the corrosion inhibitor in the solvent is detected, on the basis of a change in impedance of the electrode surface film formed on the surface of the detection electrode (1) at the time when the AC voltage with the predetermined frequency and the predetermined voltage is applied between the detection electrode 1 and the counter electrode (2).

A lifetime diagnosis component for anticorrosive coating includes a plate-shaped base member having an aluminum layer on a surface thereof; and a sacrificial anode layer portion formed of zinc on the base member. The surface of the base member has a base-member exposing portion where the aluminum layer is exposed.

A corrosion resistance degradation sensor includes a conductive pipe having its inner surface covered with an anticorrosive coating, an electrode placed within a pipe line defined by the conductive pipe such that the electrode is in contact with a pipe line liquid and kept insulated from the conductive pipe, a resistor having its one end connected to the outer surface of the pipe, and an AC power supply having its one terminal connected to a terminal leading from the pipe, and its other terminal connected to a terminal leading from the electrode and the resistor. While preventing damage to the anticorrosive coating and the progress of corrosion of this coating due to factors associated with measurement, the sensor accurately removes the influence of the external environment, and accurately detects degradation of the anticorrosive coating based on a change in frequency dependence of impedance because the current flow path shifts due to degradation of the anticorrosive coating.

An anticorrosion performance degradation detection sensor (10) for detecting inclusion of a corrosive factor in a solvent to which a corrosion inhibitor for inhibiting corrosion of an anticorrosion target material is added includes a detection electrode (1), a counter electrode (2), and a power supply (4). The detection electrode (1) reacts with a corrosion inhibitor dissolved in the solvent to form on a surface thereof an electrode surface coating that inhibits corrosion. The counter electrode (2) is disposed to face the detection electrode (1) with a predetermined distance therebetween. The power supply (4) applies an AC voltage with a predetermined frequency between the detection electrode (1) and the counter electrode (2), and performs a voltage operation that promotes decomposition and reformation of the electrode surface coating. The detection electrode (1) detects inclusion of the corrosive factor in the solvent based on a change in an impedance response by the applied AC voltage with the predetermined frequency before and after the voltage operation that promotes decomposition and reformation of the electrode surface coating.
