摘要:
The object is to provide an exhaust gas purification catalyst that exhibit high nitrogen oxide purification performance, and to provide a simple and efficient method for producing the catalyst, in which the amount of the waste liquid is reduced, further, an object of the invention is to provide a zeolite-containing catalyst for purifying nitrogen oxides, which does not use an expensive noble metal or the like and which has high nitrogen oxide purification performance. The present invention relates to a catalyst for purifying nitrogen oxides, which comprises: zeolite at least containing an aluminium atom and a phosphorus atom in the skeleton structure thereof; and a metal supported on the zeolite, wherein a fluctuation coefficient of intensity of the metal is at least 20%, when performing an element mapping of the metal in the catalyst with an electron probe microanalyzer, and, a catalyst for purifying nitrogen oxides, which comprises the zeolite containing at least a silicon atom, a phosphorus atom and an aluminium atom, and having an adsorption retention rate of at least 80% in a water vapor repetitive adsorption/desorption test at 90°C.

The present invention provides a novel high-silica zeolite having a high molar ration of a tetravalent element (Y) to a trivalent element (X) in terms of oxide. A zeolite, comprising at least a trivalent element X and a tetravalent element Y, wherein a molar ratio n = YO 2 /X 2 O 3 in terms of oxide is 9.5 or more, and the zeolite comprises an RHO-type structure, or comprising at least a trivalent element X and a tetravalent element Y, wherein a molar ratio n = YO 2 /X 2 O 3 in terms of oxide is 9.5 or more, and a characteristic X-ray diffraction pattern. This zeolite is produced by hydrothermal synthesis of a zeolite from an aqueous gel that is prepared by adding a mixed solution comprising a crown ether, an alkali, and water to a solution containing an aluminum atom material, and by then dropwise adding a liquid containing a silicon atom material.

To provide an exhaust gas purification catalyst which has high nitrogen oxide removal performance at both an exhaust gas temperature of 200°C or lower and an exhaust gas temperature of 500°C or higher and high durability to the repetitive adsorption and desorption of water vapor. A catalyst contains zeolite having a framework structure containing at least aluminum atoms, phosphorus atoms, and silicon atoms and metal supported on the zeolite. The integrated intensity area of a signal intensity of -130 ppm to -92.5 ppm is 41% or more of the integrated intensity area of a signal intensity of -130 ppm to -50 ppm in the case of measuring a solid-state 29 Si-DD/MAS-NMR spectrum after water adsorption.
