A lens molding method is characterized in that in a method of press-molding a lens material (1) set between an upper mold (2) and a lower mold (3), molding pressure is reduced or made zero at least once during a heating & pressing step, at completion of the heating & pressing step, and during a cooling & pressing step.

A method and apparatus of producing an optical glass element of the present invention comprises the steps of displacing a gob of optical glass on a first heat working jig to a second heat working jig by making the gob of optical glass to adhere to the second heat working jig on the basis of the difference in wettability with high temperature glass between the first heat working jig and the second heat working jig, thermally deforming the gob of optical glass on the second heat working jig to form an optical glass preform, and forming the optical glass preform under heating and pressure by using pressing moulds to form an optical glass element.
摘要:
A method for making optical preforms of optical elements without residual stress or distortion is provided. In this method, an optical material (6) is supplied between upper and lower molds (1,2). The upper mold (1) has a plurality of recesses arranged in a predetermined pitch, and each recess corresponds to a first surface shape of the optical element. The lower mold (2) has a plurality of recesses facing the recesses of the upper mold (1) and each recess of the lower mold corresponds to a second surface shape of the optical element. The supplied optical material (6) is pressed between the upper and lower molds (1,2) to be a set of optical preforms (7). The set of optical preforms (7) is processed by die punching or tool cutting to separate each optical preform from the set of optical preforms (7). Each optical preform is used for producing an optical element by further pressing. Alternatively, optical element can be formed directly by the press molding process.
摘要:
A molding machine for making an optical element by introducing an optical raw material into a mold assembly comprising first and second molds, heating to soften the optical raw material and applying pressure to the softened optical raw material. The machine comprises a measuring instrument for measuring either the amount of displacement of the optical raw material or the temperature of one of the optical raw material and the mold assembly during a course of molding, and an arithmetic unit for selecting molding conditions during steps subsequent to the measurement and to transmit to a machine control unit molding conditions to be modified. The machine control unit is operable to transmit to the molding machine the molding conditions to be modified which have been selected by the arithmetic unit. A method executed by the molding machine and an optical element obtained therefrom are also disclosed.
