摘要： The inventive thread-supplying device (1) has a plastic, preferably two-shell housing (3). A fixing device (4) is provided for connecting the housing to a holder on the machine side. Said fixing device also consists of plastic. The fixing device (4) is reinforced by means of appropriate forming and does not require any intermediate metal layers. The two halves of the housing each support a bearing for a continuous shaft, which supports a thread-supplying drum at one end and a drive device, e.g. a pulley(14, 15), at the other end. Fixing means are used to keep the two housing parts together in the correct position. The housing (3) is easy to open for maintenance.
