    C: R 1 = OH, R 2 = H, R 3 = H, 22,23-double bond are isolated from the fermentation broth, using avermectin Bla, avermectin Blb or 22,23-dihydro avermectin Bla as a substrate, of Nocardia autotrophica ATCC 35203. The compounds are highly potent antiparasitic, insecticidal, and anthelmintic agents and can be made into compositions for such uses.
