The signals are sent to an electronic circuit which controls a presentation of the operational condition of the device and presents operational conditions, which are defined as not allowed, as error indications by switching off the display presenting the operational condition of the device. The number of signals from each generator is counted and a number of operations exceeding a pre-set number for the signal generator in question is interpreted as representing a not allowed operational condition.

A solid pharmaceutical composition for parenteral administration comprising an inner matrix comprising at least one therapeutic agent, and a biodegradable, and water-impermeable coating covering part of the surface of said composition,wherein said inner matrix disintegrates upon contact with animal tissue or tissue fluids. The coating is made from a material selected from the group consisting of polyesters such as polyglycolides, polylactides and polylactic polyglycolic acid copolymers (PLGA) etc. The innermatrix may comprise a binder, e.g. mannitol, and the active agent may comprise insulin.

Said portable apparatuses comprising a first apparatus for performing the first operation and a second apparatus for performing the second operation, where each apparatus has means for one or more of the following: storing, transmitting, receiving, processing and displaying data information, and where the two apparatuses have a number of interrelated positions during normal use, where the method comprises the steps of: automatically storing at least first data information relevant to said first operation in said first apparatus, automatically storing at least second data information relevant to said second operation in said second apparatus, and automatically transmitting, via shortrange communications means, data information relevant to these operations between the apparatuses when said apparatuses are mutually positioned in one of said number of interrelated positions.
