Abstract:
A supporting apparatus (10) for a steering bracket includes a capsule support portion (59) of a steering bracket supporting a steering column, a separation capsule (11) to fix a vehicle body-side member (21) to the steering bracket, a resin member (12P), a shear pin (13), and an inertial action body (15) including a weight portion (15G) moving to a front side of a vehicle by inertia due to a primary collision and pulling out the shear pin (13) from a second bracket-side hole (59I) with the movement.

Abstract:
Construction is achieved of a steering device that is capable of preventing impact going forward from being applied to a support bracket even when a steering wheel is vigorously displaced to a front-end position when adjusting the forward-backward position of the steering wheel. Part of the stopper member 28 is supported by a fastening member such as a housing 10a. When an outer column 22a is displaced forward in a state in which the forward-backward position of the steering wheel can be adjusted, a portion that displaces forward together with the outer column 22a hits a pair of stopper surfaces 41 of the stopper member 28 before an adjustment rod hits a pair of long telescopic-adjustment holes.
Abstract:
A method of producing a toothed transmission member having oil holders, not causing very large increase in production costs, suitable for mass production, and having increased lubricant retaining ability, and a toothed transmission member produced by the method. The method of producing a toothed transmission member with oil holders has a primitive recess forming process for forming primitive recesses (21), the origin of the oil holders, in the surface of a material for the toothed transmission member and has a tooth surface forming process for forming a toothed transmission member by processing the toothed transmission member so as to leave marks of the primitive recesses. The marks of the primitive recesses (21) left in the toothed transmission member formed by the tooth surface forming process function as the oil holders.
Abstract:
A torque load member has a detected surface which is configured to face a magnetostrictive torque sensor. The detected surface is a shot peened surface whose magnetic anisotropy directed in a specific direction has been reduced by performing shot peening thereto at an arc height value of 0.31 mmA or more.

A supporting apparatus (10) for a steering bracket includes: a capsule support portion (59) of a steering bracket that is used to support a steering column; a separation capsule (11) that is used to fix a vehicle body-side member (21) to the steering bracket; a resin member (12P); a shear pin (13D); and a cam mechanism (13A) by which a weight portion (13W) rotates around the shear pin (13D) by inertia due to a primary collision and moves to a front of a vehicle and the shear pin (13D) is pulled out from the second bracket-side hole (591) with the rotation.
Abstract:
A steering apparatus includes: an input shaft of which one end is connected to a steering wheel; and a steering column that rotatably supports the input shaft. The steering column includes a cylindrical outer column and a cylindrical inner column that is partially inserted into the outer column and guides the outer column in an axial direction. The inner column has a stopper, which regulates a movable range of the outer column in the axial direction, provided on an outer circumferential surface, and the stopper allows the range to be enlarged when deformation or movement thereof occurs due to inertial force.
Abstract:
[Problem] An object of the present invention is to provide an electric power steering apparatus that realizes weight saving and downsizing of component parts by counting and controlling the number of times of end hitting and simultaneously calculating a current limit value depending on the number of times of end hitting to limit assist. [Means for solving the problem] The present invention is an electric power steering apparatus that comprises an end hitting detection means that detects end hitting based on the steering torque and a differential steering torque obtained by differentiating the steering torque and outputs an end hitting detection signal, a counting means that counts a number 1 of times of end hitting detected by the end hitting detection means, a storage means that stores and keeps a total number of times of end hitting, and a current limit value calculating means that calculates a current limit value depending on a number 2 of times of end hitting obtained by adding the number 1 of times of end hitting from the counting means and the total number of times of end hitting from the storage means, wherein the current command value is limited based on the current limit value calculated by the current limit value calculating means.
