    摘要: An image predictive encoding device can efficiently encode an image, while suppressing an increase in prediction information and reducing the prediction error of a target block. In an image predictive encoding device according to one embodiment, to produce a prediction signal of a partition in a target region, it is decided whether prediction information of a neighbouring region can be used. When prediction information of the neighbouring region can be used, a region width of the partition where the prediction information of the neighbouring region is used to produce the prediction signal is determined. The prediction signal of the target region is produced from a reconstructed signal based on the prediction information of the target region, the prediction information of the neighbouring region, and the region width. The prediction information, information identifying the region width, and a residual signal between the prediction signal and an original signal of the target region are encoded.

    摘要: The problem of the conventional technology was to repeatedly encode the same information using many bits in encoding of buffer description information about reference pictures to be used in video predictive encoding. A video predictive encoding device includes: input means to implement input of pictures constituting a video sequence; encoding means which conducts predictive coding of a target picture using, as reference pictures, pictures having been encoded and then reconstructed in the past, to generate compressed picture data; reconstruction means to decode the compressed picture data to reconstruct a reproduced picture; picture storage means to store the reproduced picture as a reference picture for encoding of a subsequent picture; and buffer management means to control the picture storage means, wherein the buffer management means controls the picture storage means, (prior to predictive encoding of the target picture), on the basis of buffer description information BD[k] related to reference pictures which are used in predictive encoding of the target picture, encodes the buffer description information BD[k] with reference to buffer description information BD[m] for a picture different from the target picture, and adds encoded data thereof to the compressed picture data.

    摘要: In image predictive decoding device according to an embodiment, one or more motion information sets are derived out of plural pieces of motion information stored a memory. Each of the one or more motion information sets includes two pieces of motion information between which respective frame numbers identified with respective reference picture list identification and respective reference picture index are different from each other, or between which respective motion vectors are different from each other. A predicted signal of the target region is generated by combining two signals obtained from one or more reconstructed pictures stored in the memory based on the two pieces of motion information which are the determined motion information set or the restored two pieces of motion information. Motion information are stored in motion information recording means, and are used for generation of the predicted signal of the target region in the memory.

A prediction signal generator 103 generates a prediction signal for the pixel signal contained in an object region, which is the object of processing, among the plurality of regions, and generates a prediction signal by using a texture synthesis method for forming a texture signal for the object region. A subtracter 105 determines a residual signal between the pixel signal of the object region and the prediction signal, and a transformer 106 and a quantizer 107 encode the residual signal to generate a compressed signal.
