Abstract: A terahertz detector and a method of manufacturing a terahertz detector, wherein the terahertz detector including a substrate (2) and at least one detection unit. Each detection unit includes: a channel material (1) arranged on the substrate, two electrodes (3, 4) respectively in ohmic contact with both ends of the channel material (1) in a longitudinal direction, and a three-dimensional grapheme (5) in direct or indirect thermal contact with the channel material (1). The detector may solve the problem of insufficient absorption of terahertz wave by the channel material (1), by using the three-dimensional graphene (5) as an absorber, so that a response sensitivity of the detector may be effectively improved.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a portable terahertz security inspection apparatus, including: a carrying body; a terahertz emitting device arranged on the carrying body, wherein the terahertz emitting device includes a terahertz signal source and an emitting unit connected to the terahertz signal source and configured to emit a terahertz wave; a terahertz detector arranged on the carrying body and configured to receive the terahertz wave reflected from an inspected object; a data acquisition and processing system arranged on the carrying body and connected to the terahertz detector, wherein the data acquisition and processing system is configured to receive a scan data for the inspected object from the terahertz detector and generate a terahertz image; and a display device connected to the data acquisition and processing system and configured to receive and display the terahertz image from the data acquisition and processing system. The portable terahertz security inspection apparatus does not need to be equipped with a mechanical scanning system, so that a volume and a weight of the terahertz security inspection apparatus may be greatly reduced, and a security inspector may move the terahertz security inspection apparatus manually to perform scanning of the imaging area.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a security inspection apparatus and a method of controlling the same. The security inspection apparatus includes: a bottom plate configured to carry an inspected object; and a two-dimensional multi-input multi-output array panel, including at least one two-dimensional multi-input multi-output sub-array. Each two-dimensional multi-input multi-output sub-array includes a plurality of transmitting antennas and a plurality of receiving antennas, and the plurality of transmitting antennas and the plurality of transmitting antennas are arranged such that equivalent phase centers are arranged in a two-dimensional array. The security inspection apparatus further includes: a control circuit configured to control the plurality of transmitting antennas to transmit a detection signal in a form of an electromagnetic wave to the inspected object in a preset order, and to control the plurality of receiving antennas to receive an echo signal from the inspected object; a signal processing device configured to reconstruct an image of an inspected object based on an echo signal received; and a display device configured to display the reconstructed image of the inspected object.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a millimeter wave/terahertz wave imaging apparatus, a method of detecting a human body or an article by using the millimeter wave/terahertz wave imaging apparatus, and a method of calibrating the millimeter wave/terahertz wave imaging apparatus. The millimeter wave/terahertz wave imaging apparatus includes a quasi-optical assembly and a millimeter wave/terahertz wave detector array. The quasi-optical assembly is adapted to reflect and converge a millimeter wave/terahertz wave radiated or reflected by a first inspected object and a second inspected object onto the millimeter wave/terahertz wave detector array. The quasi-optical assembly includes a reflector, and the first inspected object and the second inspected object are respectively located on opposite sides of the reflector. The reflector is rotatable about a horizontal axis so as to respectively receive and reflect a wave beam from parts of the first inspected object at different vertical positions of a first field of view and a wave beam from parts of the second inspected object at different vertical positions of a second field of view. The millimeter wave/terahertz wave detector array is adapted to receive a wave beam from the quasi-optical assembly. The imaging apparatus simultaneously images two inspected objects located on opposite sides of the reflector, thereby improving the inspection efficiency with a simple control and a low cost.
