The present disclosure provides an X-ray generator with adjustable collimation. The X-ray generator comprises: an assembly of X-ray source, which includes an X-ray tube (203) having a cathode and an anode and a front collimator (302); a high voltage generator (100), which is disposed in an extended chamber of a housing for the X-ray tube and which is used for supplying a direct current high voltage between the cathode and the anode of the X-ray tube to excite X-ray beams; a collimation adjustment unit (301), which is rotatably disposed outside of the front collimator and which is used for adjusting fan-type X-ray beams into continuous pencil-type X-ray beams; and a cooling unit (401, 402, 403), which is independently mounted to the X-ray tube and which is used for cooling the anode of the X-ray tube; wherein, the assembly of X-ray source, the high voltage generator, the collimation adjustment unit and the cooling unit are integrated as a whole. The X-ray generator with adjustable collimation according to the disclosure has a compact construction, which is helpful in miniaturization, modularization and high efficiency of a security detection equipment.

The present invention discloses a millimeter-wave inspection apparatus. The millimeter-wave inspection apparatus comprises: optics devices (30, 40, 50), configured to receive millimeter-wave energy radiated from an object to be inspected and focus the received millimeter-wave energy; a radiometer receiving device(80) configured to receive the focused millimeter-wave energy and transform the millimeter-wave energy into electrical signal; and an imaging device configured to generate a temperature image of the object to be inspected based on the electrical signal. Compared with the prior art, the millimeter-wave inspection apparatus of the present invention has a simple and compact structure; it would not be harmful to the human health by employing the passive millimeter-wave human body security inspection technology. With the above configuration, the contraband items to be concealed within the human clothing can be efficiently and effectively detected.

The present disclosure provides a millimeter wave/terahertz wave imaging apparatus, a method of detecting a human body or an article by using the millimeter wave/terahertz wave imaging apparatus, and a method of calibrating the millimeter wave/terahertz wave imaging apparatus. The millimeter wave/terahertz wave imaging apparatus includes a quasi-optical assembly and a millimeter wave/terahertz wave detector array. The quasi-optical assembly is adapted to reflect and converge a millimeter wave/terahertz wave radiated or reflected by a first inspected object and a second inspected object onto the millimeter wave/terahertz wave detector array. The quasi-optical assembly includes a reflector, and the first inspected object and the second inspected object are respectively located on opposite sides of the reflector. The reflector is rotatable about a horizontal axis so as to respectively receive and reflect a wave beam from parts of the first inspected object at different vertical positions of a first field of view and a wave beam from parts of the second inspected object at different vertical positions of a second field of view. The millimeter wave/terahertz wave detector array is adapted to receive a wave beam from the quasi-optical assembly. The imaging apparatus simultaneously images two inspected objects located on opposite sides of the reflector, thereby improving the inspection efficiency with a simple control and a low cost.

The scanning device includes a radiation source; a stationary shield plate and a rotary shield body positioned respectively between the radiation source and the subject to be scanned, wherein the stationary shield plate is fixed relative to the radiation source, and the rotary shield body is rotatable relative to the stationary shield plate. The ray passing area permitting the rays from the radiation source to pass through the stationary shield plate is provided on the stationary shield plate, and ray incidence area and ray exit area are respectively provided on the rotary shield body. During the process of the rotating and scanning of the rotary shield body, the ray passing area of the stationary shield plate intersects consecutively with the ray incidence area and the ray exit area of the rotary shield body to form scanning collimation holes. Further, a scanning method using radiation beam for backscatter imaging is also provided.
