Abstract: Disclosed is a cooling member (2) which is designed to cool semiconductor light emitting elements (8) and comprises a mounting cavity (3) for accommodating at least part of control electronics (4) used for operating the semiconductor light emitting elements. Also disclosed is a lamp (1) which comprises such a cooling member and in which the control electronics (4) are accommodated at least in part within the mounting cavity. A method for producing a lamp includes at least the following steps: the control electronics (4) are introduced at least in part into the mounting cavity (3); the mounting cavity is at least partially filled with a thermal transfer material (19); and at least one semiconductor light emitting element (8) is fixed to the cooling member (2).
