    摘要: The invention relates to a passive matrix display comprising structured pixels and a structured second electrode on the basis of electroluminescent polymers. The inventive display is specifically characterized in that functional polymer layers (12 and 14) are connected to a first electrode (1) and are delimited by windows (10) of an insulating window layer (5). At least one further insulating strip-shaped layer (15 and 20 for two layers) is disposed between the windows of the first insulating layer (5) and is disposed at an angle to the first electrode strips in the form of a web. A second electrode (2), structured by these webs, is connected to the functional layers and extends at an angle to the first electrode strips between the webs.

    摘要: An electroluminescent organic device with an electromagnetic radiation emitting front side and having at least one pixel divided into at least two sub-pixels for emitting light with respectively different colors is disclosed. The device comprises a substrate (4); a first electrode (6) over the substrate; at least one active organic layer (7) over said first electrode for emitting electromagnetic radiation; a second electrode (8) over said active organic layer, said second electrode being at least partially transparent to the electromagnetic radiation emitted by said at least one active organic layer; and a support carrying (91) different kinds of pigments (R, G, B) respectively aligned with the sub-pixels of the electroluminescent organic device, said support being arranged over said second electrode toward the radiation emitting front side of the device. Instead of a support with pigments a support with color changing media can be used. Furthermore, a method is disclosed to produce such a device.

    摘要: The invention discloses a method for manufacturing an organic electro-luminescent display device, the method comprising the steps of: providing a light-permeable substrate; arranging a plurality of transparent electrodes in a stripe-like manner on the light-permeable substrate, the transparent electrodes being made of a light-permeable con-ductive film; forming at least one organic layer on the subassembly, the at least one organic layer being made of an organic elec-tro-luminescent medium so that the at least one organic layer covers the electrodes; forming a conductive film all over the at least one organic layer; and removing at least one portion of the conductive film so as to create stipe-like electrodes being electrical iso-lated to each other and extending in a direction perpendicu-lar to the transparent electrodes using a radiation method.
