    摘要: A liquid toner which remains on the surface of a photoconductor drum (2) after a toner image has been transferred to an intermediate transfer body (1) is collected in a recovery pot (6a), from which it is fed to a carrier pot (20) for storage therein, and it is fed to a toner concentration adjusting device (10) according to a separate instruction. Further, the remaining liquid toner supplied to the photoconductive drum (2) from a developing roller (3) is collected in a recovery pot (6b) and directly fed to the toner concentration adjusting device (10). In the toner concentration adjusting device (10), the liquid toner after having its concentration adjusted is fed to a supply pot (7), from which it is supplied to a developing roller (3) through a supply roller (4) and used for development of electrostatic latent images. The toner concentration adjusting device (10) is a concentration adjusting pot having incorporated therein a carrier extraction mechanism, a toner replenishing mechanism, a toner concentration detecting mechanism, etc.
