摘要: A microwave treatment device comprises a heating chamber for accommodating a heating target, a microwave generator, a feeder, a detector, and a controller. The microwave generator generates a microwave having a frequency in a specified frequency band. The feeder radiates the microwave inside the heating chamber. The detector detects a reflected microwave power reflected from the heating chamber. The controller causes the microwave generator to execute a frequency sweeping in the specified frequency band. The controller also controls the microwave generator according to a temporal change in a frequency characteristic of the reflected microwave power. The temporal change in the frequency characteristic of the reflected microwave power is based on the frequency of the microwave, a level of the reflected microwave power, and a time passed from a start of heating. In this aspect, it is possible to accurately recognizes the progress of cooking while heating the object. Accordingly, cooking can be finished appropriately.

摘要: A microwave heating device according to the present disclosure includes: a heating chamber to accommodate a heating target object, a microwave generating unit to generate a microwave, a waveguide, a standing-wave stabilizing part, and a reflected-wave detection unit. The waveguide transmits, to the heating chamber, the microwave generated by the microwave generating unit. The standing-wave stabilizing part stabilizes the position of an in-tube standing wave that occurs in the inside of the waveguide. The reflected-wave detection unit is disposed closer to the heating chamber than the standing-wave stabilizing part, and detects a part of a reflected wave which is a microwave that returns from the heating chamber to the microwave generating unit.

Surface wave transmission lines (111a, 111b) receive at least one of the high frequency power generated by first high frequency power generator (120a) and the high frequency power generated by second high frequency power generator (120b). According to this aspect, interference between the high frequency powers is not occurred and electromagnetic field coupling is not occurred. As a result, in the high frequency heating device provided with the surface wave transmission line using a periodic structure, uneven baking caused by the electromagnetic field coupling can be suppressed, and a heating state of an object to be heated can be easily controlled.

The heating chamber 102 includes a radiation area which has a length of approximate twice an in-tube wavelength in a propagation direction of the waveguide tube 104. Also, the openings 105, 106 are arranged to have an interval of approximate the in-tube wavelength in the propagation direction of the waveguide tube 104, and are symmetrically arranged to a center line which intersects perpendicularly to the propagation direction in the radiation area.

摘要: The present invention includes directional coupler (30) that detects at least part of a reflected wave inside waveguide (4). When object (21) to be heated is absent, a reflected wave is strong, because there is nothing to absorb a microwave. When object (21) is present, the reflected wave is weak, because the microwave is absorbed by object (21). As a quantity of object (21) becomes greater, a larger amount of microwave is absorbed by object (21), and thus the reflected wave is weakened. It is thus possible to determine the quantity of object (21) from a reflected wave detection amount detected by directional coupler (30) without using a detector that detects a load.
