Outre une butée de pleine charge (27) située sur le support de base (26), le support supplémentaire (28) comprend une butée supplémentaire (33) déplacée transversalement au sens de rotation du support de base (26) en fonction de la pression d'admission par une unité d'adaptation (41). La butée de régulation (31) forme un organe de régulation (31) à commande thermique qui place la butée supplémentaire (33) de sorte qu'un organe capteur (39) dont la position est déterminante pour le dosage de carburant pousse la butée supplémentaire (33) hors de la zone de détection de l'organe capteur (39) à des températures réduites de fonctionnement du moteur à combustion interne, ce qui permet d'admettre les doses élevées requises de carburant, alors qu'en cas de démarrage à chaud, la butée supplémentaire (33) pénètre dans la zone de détection de l'organe capteur (39), limitant les doses de carburant et empêchant l'émission soudaine de fumée lors du démarrage à chaud.

A hydraulic pressure in a control chamber (3) is changed dependent on the respective switch position of the control valve (2), said hydraulic pressure being applied to the nozzle needle (1) in the closing direction. The fuel injector also comprises a force or pressure sensor (4) with at least one sensor element made of a piezoelectric material for detecting characteristic pressure changes when opening and closing the nozzle needle. According to the invention, the force or pressure sensor (4) is arranged in a low-pressure region (6) of the fuel injector, and an axial force can be applied directly or indirectly to said sensor at least when closing the nozzle needle (2), said axial force being proportional to the hydraulic pressure in the control chamber (3). Furthermore, the force or pressure sensor (4) is preloaded directly or indirectly by a preloading element (7) in an axial manner with respect to a support plate (8) or a housing part (26).

摘要: A method for operating a fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine is described. The fuel injection system has an injector for metering fuel into a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine. The injector has an actuator, a control valve and a nozzle needle. In the method, the actuator is supplied a voltage and/or a current during an activation period. The control valve is set into a lifting motion by the actuator. The injector is opened and closed by the nozzle needle, using the lifting motion of the control valve. A further time period is ascertained. The further time period ends at the closing time of the nozzle needle. A function is ascertained, which links the activation period to the further time period. A shortest activation period, for which the nozzle needle opens and produces an injection, is ascertained with the aid of the function. An opening delay period (do1) of the nozzle needle is ascertained as a function of the shortest time period.
