    摘要: A brake pad arrangement comprising a backing plate (116) and a resilient member (114),
    wherein the backing plate (116) is arranged to support a respective brake pad (104) on a first surface of the backing plate for engaging a brake disc (106) in an axial direction of the brake pad arrangement normal to the first surface,
    wherein the resilient member (114) is connected to a second surface of the backing plate (116) opposite to the first surface, and arranged to engage a retainer bar (110) extending axially across the brake pad arrangement (102) when in use,
    wherein the resilient member (114) is arranged to be tensioned during a braking action, thereby urging the brake pad arrangement (102) in the axial direction away from the brake disc (106) when releasing the brake, and
    wherein the resilient member (114) is further arranged to generate a radial force component in a direction away from the retainer bar (110) to prevent a radial motion of the first brake pad arrangement (102).
