摘要： The invention relates to a composition containing zirconium, titanium and tungsten oxides, and optionally the oxide of an element M selected from silicon, aluminium, iron, molybdenum, manganese, zinc, tin, and rare earths in the following mass proportions of said different elements: titanium oxide: 20%-50%; tungsten oxide: 1%-20%, M-element oxide: 1%-20%; the balance consisting of zirconium oxide. The composition is obtained by: placing in a liquid medium a zirconium compound, a titanium compound, optionally an M-element compound and a basic compound; adding a tungsten compound to the precipitate suspension thus obtained and having a pH value of between 1 and 7; maturing the suspension resulting from the preceding step; and optionally separating the precipitate and calcining it.

摘要： The invention relates to a composition containing zirconium oxide, silicon oxide and an oxide of an element M selected from titanium, aluminium, tungsten, molybdenum, cerium, iron, tin, zinc, and manganese, in the following mass proportions of said different elements: silicon oxide : 5%-30%; de M-element oxide : 1%-20%; the balance consisting of zirconium oxide. The composition further has an acidity, as measured by the methylbutynol test, of at least 90 %. The composition can be prepared according to a method that involves placing a zirconium compound, a silicon compound, an M-element compound and a basic compound in a liquid medium, thereby generating a precipitate; maturing said precipitate in a liquid medium; and separating and calcining the precipitate. The composition can be used for processing the exhaust gases of diesel engines.

摘要： The invention relates to a composition containing zirconium, cerium and yttrium oxides with a cerium oxide proportion of between 3% and 15%, and yttrium oxide proportions corresponding to the following conditions: 6% at most if the cerium oxide proportion is between 12% excluded and 15% included; 10% at most if the cerium oxide proportion is between 7% excluded and 12% included; 30% at most if the cerium oxide proportion is between 3% and 7% included; the balance consisting of zirconium oxide. The composition may optionally include an oxide of a rare earth selected from lanthanum, neodymium and praseodymium. The composition can be used for processing the exhaust gases of a vehicle.

Following calcination at a temperature of 900°C for 4 hours, the composition has two populations of pores, the diameters of the first population being centered around a value of between 5 nm and 15 nm for a composition containing 30% to 65% cerium oxide or between 10 nm and 20 nm for more than 65% cerium oxide and the diameter of the second population being centered around a value of between 45 nm and 65 nm for 30% to 65% cerium oxide or between 60 nm and 100 nm for more than 65% cerium oxide.
