摘要: It is possible to decide an optimal recording power and an optimal recording pulse width regardless of the optical disc and device individual differences and the environmental condition in a multinary recording method. The method includes: a first step (steps S2 to S8) for successively changing the top pulse width Ton for test-recording first test data and monitoring the reflected light intensity corresponding to the data; a second step (steps S9 to S11) for deciding an optimal top pulse width Ton from the monitoring result; a third step (steps S13, S14) for deciding an optimal off pulse width Toff corresponding to the multinary data from the monitoring result at the optimal top pulse width Ton decided; and a fourth step (steps S15 to S23) for using the decided optimal top pulse width Ton and the optimal off pulse width Toff so as to successively change the recording power, test-record second test data, monitor the reflected light intensity corresponding to the data, and decide the optimal recording power from the monitoring result.

摘要: An electrochromic dimming device is provided. The electrochromic dimming device includes an electrochromic element (1), a color development power source (2), a color discharge powder source (3), and a variable resistance (4). The color development power source (2) supplies electric power to the electrochromic element (1) when the electrochromic element (1) develops color. The color discharge powder source (3) supplies electric power to the electrochromic element (1) when the electrochromic element (1) discharges color. The variable resistance (4) is disposed on a first current path without being disposed on a second current path. The first current path is formed from the color development power source (2) through a ground (GND) via the electrochromic element (1), and the second current path is formed from the color discharge power source (3) to the ground via the electrochromic element (1).

摘要: A glasses-type device (100) includes a lens support body (130, 160) that supports a pair of lenses (140), a first temple (110) attached to the lens support body via one or more hinges, the first temple including a power supply unit (112) provided at a position closer to the hinges than to a first ear hook, and a second temple (120) attached to the lens support body via one or more hinges, the second temple including a control unit (122) provided at a position closer to the hinges than to a second ear hook, the control unit having an operating unit operably by a user wearing the glasses-type device. A charger (200) for charging the glasses-type device (100) includes a power-transmitting coil (202) that wirelessly transmits electric power to a power-receiving coil of the power supply unit (112), and a guide structure (201) having a shape that is fitted into a shape of the temple, when the glasses-type device is engaged with the charger.

摘要: Provision is made to perform stable information recording regardless of changes in ambient conditions and product-to-product variation in recording media such as optical discs and information recording apparatuses such as optical disc apparatuses for recording information on such recording media. A recording condition W recorded on an optical disc is read to obtain a range of modification of the recording condition and modification intervals. Trial writing is performed with the recording condition W(i) with i=0, and, then, the reproduced signal is sampled, followed by computing Σδ 2 from the sampled results for storage in the memory device of the information recording/reproducing apparatus. If trial writing for all the conditions are not yet completed, trial writing is performed with the next recording condition (i=i+1). The control condition that minimizes Σδ 2 is selected among all the conditions, and the value of the selected recording condition is set as an optimum setting.
