摘要： The invention relates to a steam ironing appliance comprising a steam-producing boiling compartment (60) built into a water container (110), said boiling compartment (60) being directly connected to the water container (110) while being supplied with water by gravity via at least one supply channel (70) extending from the container (110), and comprising a heating body (4) and a steam outlet (62) via which the steam can freely escape in the direction of an ironing instrument (3), such as a hand steamer. The container (110) comprises a filling opening (121A) in the upper part thereof. Said steam ironing appliance is characterised in that the steam outlet (62) is directly connected to a cord (2) attached to the ironing instrument (3) such that the steam produced by the boiling compartment (60) is not diffused into the container (110).
