摘要: The invention concerns a method for bending glass sheets (2) heated to their softening temperature in horizontal position comprising the following features: the glass sheets (2) are heated to their bending temperature in a furnace, the glass sheets (2) are brought between a concave bending frame (4) whereof the shaping surface define a contour smaller than the dimensions of the glass sheets (2) and forms an upper convex shaping surface with solid surface (3), the glass sheets (2) are pressed between the bending frame (4) and the upper shaping surface (3) so that the glass sheets (2) take on at least in certain points the contour of the upper shaping surface (3) (press bending step 1); a final annular bending frame (5) whereof the shaping surfaces correspond to the final shape of the glass sheets (2), is brought into contact with the prominent marginal zones of the glass sheets (2) and the glass sheets (2) are pressed against the upper shaping surface (3) (press bending step 2); the glass sheets (2) whereof the bending is completed are subjected to a cooling or tempering treatment.

摘要: The invention concerns a method for curving and tempering a glass sheet, which consists in curving the glass sheet into the desired shape by means of a forming frame (1). The same forming frame (1) is used for chilling the whole surface of both sides of the curved glass sheet in a tempering station which comes immediately after the curving station by blowing cold air by means of blow boxes equipped with blow nozzles. During the chilling of the whole surface, the glass sheet edge zones resting on the forming frame (1) are subjected to an additional cold air spray by the adequate supply of compressed air into the openings (4) passing through the forming frame (1).

摘要: The invention concerns a method for bending glass sheets (20) with a surface bending mould (1) whereon the glass sheets are pressed by a pressure drop produced by sucking up air from the space between the moulding surface (2) and the glass sheet surface opposite thereto, whereby the pressure drop is at its maximum at the glass sheet edge and decreases towards its middle part, owing to the fact that the air is introduced by air inlets (8) emerging in the moulding surface. The invention is characterised in that the air is again evacuated by subjecting to low pressure the suction apertures (11, 17) arranged in the moulding surface (2), inside the zone covered by the glass sheet. Moreover, the pressure prevailing between the glass sheet and the moulding surface is, as well as in the zone where air is introduced, adjusted at a maximum value equal to the pressure prevailing beyond the glass sheet, so as to avoid any swelling. The invention also concerns a bending mould particularly suited for implementing said method.
