摘要： The present invention relates to a DPCCH (Dedicated Physical Control Channel) gating system in a mobile communication system. A UTRAN (UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network) transmits a gating start order or a gating end order to a UE (User Equipment) through a TFCI (Transport Format Combination Indicator) symbol according to whether there exists data transmitted over a forward PCCH (Physical Common Channel) and a forward DPDCH (Dedicated Physical Data Channel), thereby to start or end gating the DPCCH.

摘要： Disclosed is a channel allocation method in a CDMA communication system. The method comprises receiving from a UTRAN one SF node CSF,k out of 2m-1 SF nodes (where m is an integer larger than 3) arranged in the form of a tree having a mother node and child nodes; searching a group including the received SF node C¿SF,k?; spreading a signal on a dedicated physical data channel (DPDCH) with an OVSF code corresponding to a selected one of the received SF node and its child nodes in the searched group; and spreading a signal on a dedicated physical control channel (DPCCH) with an OVSF code corresponding to an SF node based on the received SF node.

摘要： A method for broadcasting channel information, available channel and data rate of a base station in a CDMA communication system. The base station receives information indicating that a mobile station has data to transmit, over an access preamble channel. The base station transmits use status information of physical channels and maximum available data rate information on a status indicator channel. The mobile station receives the use status information of physical channels and the maximum available data rate information through the status indicator channel from a base station. The mobile station transmits to the base station an access preamble for requesting allocation of a given physical channel determined depending on the use status information and the maximum available data rate information.

摘要： A method is disclosed for determining by a UTRAN a persistence value having a value between 0 and 1 for adjusting a number of access preambles from a plurality of UEs requiring assignment of a common packet channel (CPCH). The method includes the steps of counting a number of the access preambles detected in an access preamble period having a predetermined period; and determining the persistence value based on the number of counted access preambles. The persistence value is determined in a unit of transport format (TF), physical common packet channel (PCPCH), or CPCH set.
