摘要： It is intended to provide a novel method of testing a remedy or a preventive for at least one disease selected from among hyperlipemia, arteriosclerosis and hyperglycemia. More specifically, a method which comprises culturing cultured cells in the presence or absence of a test substance, detecting the mRNA expression dose, promoter activity or protein production level of “angiopoetin−associated protein 3 or 4” gene, and thus selecting a test substance showing a lowered mRNA expression dose, promoter activity or protein production level thus detected in the cells cultured in the presence thereof compared with the cells cultured in the absence thereof.
