A drive apparatus (1) having a characteristic power curve which is characterized by high positioning forces (F) but low entering speeds into the end positions (A, B) is provided in that the conversion apparatus has a linear-guided slide (7), carrying the actuator (3), and a drive lever (11) which is rotatable by the drive motor (2) between two end positions (a, b), which is coupled to the slide (7) for converting the rotational movement (d) into a linear stroke movement (H) of the slide (7).
