The invention relates to a device for detecting the temperature and for analyzing molten masses in metallurgical vessels. Said device comprises a channel pipe (KN) for receiving a sample of a molten mass, which is provided on the lateral wall of the metallurgical vessel (KV), runs with its lower end into the wall thereof and terminates with its upper open end above the metallurgical vessel (KV). Said channel pipe is provided upstream of the inlet with an air inlet with an associated intake and discharge valve (VT) and above said air inlet with a rotary valve (DS) that opens the cross-section of the channel pipe (KR), allowing to introduce measuring probes, lasers or temperature sensors, and closes it.

The invention relates to a metallurgical vessel (1), comprising at least one cavity (2) through which water flows and a device for recognition of water leakages from the at least one cavity (2). According to the invention, a detection of a leak may be facilitated, whereby at least one sensor (3) is arranged in the cavity (1) which raises an alarm on detection of light.
