摘要:
A data edition method enabling reduction of the load of the edition processing of stream data recorded on a recording medium and realizing higher speed edition. It is assumed that the stream data recorded on the recording medium is managed as a file by a file system. The stream data is managed track by track using a track management data file managed by the file system. The edition of division and erase is executed track by track by rewriting the content of the track management information defining each track in the track management data file. With this configuration, it is not necessary to rewrite the file system when division or erase edition is executed track by track.
摘要:
A CD-R (20) capable of reducing the load when fringe data is read by a CD player and reducing the time required until the data is displayed. This CD-R has content files “00001” to “0000n” containing respective contents and database files TRNDB, ARNDB, and ALNDB. The content files “00001” to “0000n” contain contents and data on additional information on the contents for each of the content files “00001” to “0000n”. The database files TRNDB, ARNDB, and ALNDB contain data on the additional information for each of all the content files “00001” to “0000n”.
摘要:
A track information table includes, for each track, decoding information, file pointer information indicating one of a plurality of files each with a header, and index information indicating a position within a file. A function is provided to attach a header to the index information track. The decoding information, file pointer information, and index information corresponding to a selected track are read from the track information table. The header of a file with a header is read based on the file pointer information. Information on a position within the file corresponding to the index information is extracted from the header. The data in the second half of the file is read based on the position information and is added to the track to which the data is to be added to create a new file with a header.
