The device also comprises a mass-feed component (206), which is arranged in a mass-feed position along the path for the mould, for the purpose of feeding mass to the mould cavities, which mass-feed component is coupled to the pump device for supplying the mass. Closure means (214) are provided which act downstream of a mass-feed position for the purpose of closing the filling opening of the mould cavity.
