An insulated wire with spiral terminal capable of facilitating a connecting operation for connecting an insulated wire to a pin-shaped terminal and reducing a connection cost, wherein a spiral part (4) is formed by removing a terminal cover (2) of the insulated wire (3) so as to expose a conductor (1) and bending the exposed conductor (1) so that it is wound spirally one and a half times or more, and the pin-shaped terminal is inserted into a spiral center hole of the spiral part (4) and the spiral part (4) is fixed to the pin-shaped terminal through a bonding material such as solder for connection of the insulated wire to the pin-shaped terminal, whereby, if solder coat is applied to the conductor of the spiral part beforehand, the solder coat can also be fused merely by heating the spiral part so as to fix the pin-shaped terminal to the conductor.

A positioning of a plurality of optical fibers 11 is performed by a pair of position regulating members 12a and 12b. Then, the paired position regulating members 12a and 12b are moved along two guide members 13, 13 in such a manner as to have a predetermined distance therebetween. Aribbon support member 15 is placed between the paired position regulating members 12a and 12b in such a way as to support the optical fibers 11. The plurality of optical fibers 11 are held and fixed by the holding members 17a and 17b. Further, the plurality of optical fibers 11 put on the ribbon support member 15 are sandwiched by the ribbon support member 15 and the pressing tool 19 opposed thereto. In a terminal portion structure 110a of a ribbon fiber 10, terminal portions of optical fibers 102 are arranged horizontally in parallel, an adhesive tape is stuck onto at least one of upper and lower surfaces of at least the terminal portions.

A tape-like optical fiber core comprising a plurality of optical fiber cores (2) arranged flatly, and flame-retardant film, (4a, 4b) to integrate these cores (2). An adhesive layer (5) is formed on the flame-retardant films (4a, 4b) to integrate the flatly-arranged cores (2). The tape-like optical fiber core (1), which is formed as above and uses flame-retardant films, can reduce a tape thickness and can be easily separated into single cores when the tape is peeled off.
