摘要: Front left and right wheel units (FL, FR) are driven by an engine (ENG) and a motor generator (MG2). Rear left and right wheel units (RL, RR) are independently driven by in-wheel motor type motor generators (MGR, MGL). The motor generator (MG2) and the motor generator (MGR, MGL) are configured to have different rated outputs, respectively, and be subjected to different speed reduction ratios, respectively, between the motor generators and their respectively associated drive wheel units, and thus have characteristics, respectively, in efficiency with respect to torque and vehicular speed, that exhibit high efficiency in mutually different output ranges, respectively. When a mileage oriented mode is selected as a traveling mode, an ECU (30) determines how a drive torque should be allocated between the motor generators (MG2, MGR, MGL), as based on the motors' required drive torque and vehicular speed and on each motor generator's characteristic in efficiency, to maximize the motor generators' total efficiency.

摘要: A trans-axle, comprising motor generators (MG2, MG1 (MG1 is behind MG2)) in which the rotating center axes of rotors are disposed on a same axis, a power dividing mechanism disposed on the same axis as the rotating center axis of a crankshaft and between the motor generators (MG1, MG2), and a power control unit for controlling the motor generators (MG1, MG2). The power control unit is so provided that a reactor (L1) is disposed on at least one side and a smoothing capacitor (C2) is disposed on the other side with respect to the rotating center axis of the motor generator (MG2). The motor generators (MG1, MG2), the power dividing mechanism and the power control unit are stored in a metal case and formed integrally with each other, and secured to the body of a vehicle (1000) by an engine mount (EM).

摘要: A motor generator and an automobile carrying the motor generator. In the motor generator, a yoke part (20) comprises a projected part projected from the axial end face of a tooth (10) to the axial outside in a stator core (100) formed of a pressed powder magnetic substance. The tooth (10) is so formed that its axial length is gradually decreased toward the radial outside of the stator core (100) and its circumferential length is gradually increased toward the radial outside of the stator core (100). The stator core (100) is so formed that a height difference between the axial end face of the yoke part (20) and the axial end face of the tooth (10) is roughly equal to the axial length of a coil end part in any cross section perpendicular to the radial direction of the stator core. Also, the cross sectional area of the tooth (10) in a direction vertical to the radial direction is approximately constant toward the radial outside, and the cross sectional area is secured at a joining part between the tooth (10) and the yoke part (20). In addition, the half of the cross sectional area can be secured in the circumferential cross section of the yoke part (20).
