    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5 th -Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4 th -Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. A method for transmitting control information in a wireless communication system, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, may comprise: a method for designing a CQI table to transmit channel state information (CSI); or a method for using the designed CQI table. Also, the method may comprise: a method for designing a CQI table designed when supported services or target BLERs are different from each other; or a method for using the designed CQI table. In addition, the method may comprise a method for determining or configuring an appropriate MCS by using a suitable MCS table corresponding to the CQI table, or a designed MCS table. Moreover, the method may comprise an SINR mapping method and an MCS configuration method, on the basis of CQI information which has been reported from a terminal.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate than a 4G communication system such as LTE. According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a method performed by a transmission apparatus in a wireless communication system may be provided.
