    摘要: A power control device for a CDMA communication system using different kinds of spreading codes. In the power control device for a base station device, a first channel generator generates a first channel signal by spreading first input data (DATA1) with an orthogonal code and a second channel generator generates a second channel signal by spreading second input data (DATA2) with a quasi-orthogonal code. The second channel signal has a gain higher than that of the first channel signal. A first gain controller (17) controls power of the first channel signal and a second gain controller (18) controls power of the second channel signal. An adder (20) adds the first channel signal to the second channel signal, and a spreader (21) spreads a signal output from the adder with a pseudo-random noise (PN) code. The base station transmits a response request message to a mobile station via the second channel, and retransmits the response request message after increasing a transmission power of the second channel when a response message is not received from the mobile station.

The method comprises transmitting an access preamble signal having channel information which is used to access a base station; receiving an access preamble acquisition indicator signal received from the base station in response to the access preamble signal; transmitting a collision detection preamble for detecting a collision in response to the received access preamble acquisition indicator signal; receiving a first signal indicating acquisition of the collision detection preamble and a second signal indicating channel assignement, that the base station has transmitted in response to the collision acquisition signal; and upon receipt of the first signal, allocating a common packet channel according to information designated by the second signal.

    摘要: A channel communication device and method for a mobile communication system using transmission antenna diversity. A base station alternatively transmits signals on a common channel via at least two antennas at first and second intervals. A mobile station estimates a time relationship between the alternatively switched common channel and a user channel and measures the power of the received signals corresponding to the first and second intervals. The mobile station selects an antenna having stronger power by comparing the power of the signal corresponding to the first interval with the power of the signal corresponding to the second interval, and informs the base station of the selected antenna. The base station transmits a dedicated channel via the selected antenna.

A base station sync code transmission device comprises a primary sync code transmitter and a secondary sync code transmitter. The base station group decider is enabled upon acquisition of the primary sync code, receives a secondary sync code transmitted at a second location in the frame, and then determines the base station group to which the transmitting base station belongs.
