摘要: A power supply system (100) provided with a plurality of battery units (40), a power converter (28) connected to parallel connection lines (L1) and including a bidirectional DC/AC converter circuit or a bidirectional voltage converter circuit, and a master controller (22) for controlling the power converter (28), wherein the master controller (22): receives a switch state signal expressing that selection switches (SW1) are actually closed; causes the power converter (28) to operate after at least a prescribed standard number of the selection switches (SW1) are closed; calculates target charge/discharge power according to the number of storage battery control units (42) connected to the power converter (28) on the basis of the switch state signal; and controls the power converter (28) in such a manner that the target charge/discharge power is reached.

摘要: Provided is a power management system, wherein charging/discharging is conducted while reliably preventing overcharging/over-discharging, and charging/discharging control of a storage-battery system (22) comprising a plurality of storage battery units is conducted. An overall storage-battery-unit management unit (16) detects voltages of storage-battery packs composing the storage-battery system (22), voltages of unit cells composing the storage-battery packs, and serial voltages of the storage battery units (24), each of which comprises a plurality of storage-battery packs connected in series. Charging is stopped when either of these voltages exceeds an upper limit value, and discharging is stopped when either of these voltages is less than a lower limit value.

摘要: In a system wherein a rechargeable battery is charged when power consumption is light, and power is discharged from the rechargeable battery when power consumption is heavy, the life span of the rechargeable battery is made to be longer. An estimation unit (140) estimates the amount of power consumption for each unit period of time. A rechargeable battery control unit (150) controls the rechargeable battery (200) such that an exceeding amount of power worth the amount of power exceeding a target amount of power during a unit period of time is charged into the rechargeable battery (200), and power is discharged from the rechargeable battery (200) during a time zone wherein the target amount of power is exceeded, on the basis of the result of the estimation conducted by the estimation unit (140). An upper-limit value for the amount of power to be charged in contrast to the full amount of power that can be charged into the rechargeable battery (200) is set in the rechargeable battery control unit (150). When the rechargeable battery (200) needs to be charged in excess of the upper-limit value, the rechargeable battery control unit (150) charges the rechargeable battery up to the upper-limit value during a time zone wherein the amount of power consumption estimated by the estimation unit (140) is light, and the amount of power that exceeds the upper-limit value is charged during a time zone that is close to the time zone wherein the target amount of power is exceeded.
