摘要: A mixing impeller has first and second subassemblies. A magnet is accommodated in the first subassembly and is adapted to be magnetically coupled to a drive device to be driven. The second subassembly has at least one impeller blade for mixing components when rotating the mixing impeller. The first and second subassemblies are formed as separate entities which are selectively engageable. A method of manufacturing the first subassembly and a method of assembling the mixing impeller also are provided.

摘要: The present application relates to a mixing vessel (100) for accommodating components to be mixed, comprising: - a container, which has at least one mounting depression (102) in a side wall of the container, wherein the mounting depression (102) is adapted such that a mixing impeller housing (39, 7) of a mixing impeller (1, 7) is at least partly insertable, in which at least one magnet (11) is housed for being magnetically connectable to a drive device to be driven; and - a locking assembly being attachable to the mounting depression (102) from outside for locking the mixing impeller (1, 7) in a storage position, in which the mixing impeller (1, 7) is not rotatable, wherein the locking assembly comprises a magnetically active element (41), which is adapted to interact with the at least one magnet (11) of the mixing impeller (1, 7).Further, the present invention relates to a system comprising the mixing vessel (100) and at least one mixing impeller (1, 7), to a method of assembling, and to a mixing impeller (1, 7) for mixing components in a single-use mixing vessel (100).

摘要: A method is provided for monitoring a flow behavior of mixed components without requiring additional instrumentation or sampling. The method is carried out by determining ratios of the power required to rotate a mixing impeller at different rotational speeds and then comparing the ratios. Characteristics about the mixed components are determined based on differences between the ratios.

摘要: A system for receiving a single-use vessel containing a mixing device has a support structure adapted to receive the single-use vessel and a drive-unit adapted to power, to control, or to power and control a mixing of contents of the single-use vessel when the single-use vessel is arranged in the support structure. The support structure and the drive-unit are provided as separate components that may be arranged both in an operating position, where the drive-unit is connectable to the mixing device of the single-use bag in the support structure, and in a separated position, where the drive-unit is separated from the support structure. The drive-unit comprises a tag reader that, in the operating position, is arranged to read a vessel tag of the single-use vessel arranged in the support structure.
