    摘要: A combined rocker arm apparatus for actuating auxiliary valve of engine, comprises an auxiliary actuator, a main rocker arm (210) and a secondary rocker arm (2103). The auxiliary actuator comprises an auxiliary rocker arm (2102) and an auxiliary cam (2302). The auxiliary rocker arm (2102) and the main rocker arm (210) are mounted on the rocker arm shaft (205) in parallel. The auxiliary rocker arm (2102) is connected to the auxiliary cam (2302) at one end and adjacent to the secondary rocker arm (2103) at the other end. The auxiliary rocker arm (2102) includes a drive mechanism (100) which provided with a piston (160). In the non-operation mode of the drive mechanism (100), the piston (160) is drawn back, then the auxiliary rocker arm (2102) is disconnected with the secondary rocker arm (2103); in the operation mode of the drive mechanism (100), the piston (160) is pushed out, then the auxiliary rocker arm (2102) is connected with the secondary rocker arm (2103). The apparatus can improves the brake performance of engine.

    摘要: An auxiliary valve actuating mechanism of an engine is provided. The engine includes a conventional valve actuating mechanism (200) and an auxiliary valve actuating mechanism (2002). The auxiliary valve actuating mechanism (2002) includes an auxiliary cam (2302), an auxiliary rocker-arm shaft (2052), an auxiliary rocker arm (2102), an eccentric rocker-arm shaft bush (188) and a shaft bush actuating mechanism (100). The eccentric rocker-arm shaft bush (188) is provided inside the shaft hole of the auxiliary rocker arm (2102). The auxiliary rocker-arm shaft (2052) is provided inside the eccentric rocker-arm shaft bush (188). The shaft center of the auxiliary rocker-arm shaft (2052) is biased from the shaft center of the eccentric rocker-arm shaft bush (188). One end of the auxiliary rocker arm (2102) constitutes a motion pair with an auxiliary cam (2302), and the other end is above the valve (300). The shaft bush actuating mechanism (100) actuates the eccentric rocker-arm shaft bush (188) to rotate between an operating position and a non-operating position. At the non-operating position, the rocking center line of the auxiliary rocker arm (2102) is away from the valve (300), and the auxiliary rocker arm (2102) is separated from the valve; and at the operating position, the rocking center line of the auxiliary rocker arm (2102) is close to the valve, the auxiliary rocker arm contacts with the valve, and the movement of the auxiliary cam is transmitted to the valve to generate the motion of the auxiliary valve. The auxiliary valve actuating mechanism is simple in structure, and easy to mount.

The engine includes exhaust valve train components comprising at least one exhaust valve (300) and at least one cam (230). The apparatus comprises actuation means (100) having at least one component integrated into at least one of the exhaust valve train components, such as a rocker arm (210) or a valve bridge (400). The actuation means (100) has an inoperative position and an operative position. In the inoperative position, the actuation means (100) is retracted and the small braking cam lobes (232 & 233) are skipped to generate a main valve lift profile (220m) for the normal engine operation (20). In the operative position, the actuation means (100) is extended so that the motion from all the cam lobes (220, 232 & 233) is transmitted to the at least one exhaust valve (300) for the engine braking operation (10).

A braking piston hole (190) and an oil discharge piston hole (183) which are connected with a braking oil supply channel are ar-ranged inside a rocker (210), and an oil discharge channel (219) is arranged between the braking piston hole (190) and the oil discharge piston hole (183). When the rocker (210) is driven by a braking boss of a cam (230), an exhaust valve is opened to realize braking by a braking piston (160) inside the braking piston hole (190) of the rocker (210). When the rocker (210) is driven by an exhaust boss (220) of the cam (230), the rocker (210) moves to drive an oil discharge piston (170) in the oil discharge piston hole (183) to open the oil discharge channel (219) to discharge oil, the braking piston (160) in the braking piston hole (190) moves from a stretching position to a retracting position, and the lifting stroke of the exhaust valve is reduced by means of resetting to form a valve lift curve of movement of a conventional exhaust valve without an engine for braking. According to the reset type rocker braking method and device, an engine braking mechanism and a reset oil discharge mechanism are integrated in the rocker, and the reset type rocker braking device is simple in design and compact in structure, reduces the weight and the height of an engine, increases braking power of the engine, and improves reliability and durability of the engine in operation.
