摘要: There is provided a corrosion-resistant member in which a corrosion-resistant coating is difficult to peel off from a base material even when subjected to a thermal history. A corrosion-resistant member includes: a metal base material (10); a corrosion-resistant coating (30) formed on the surface of the base material (10); and a buffer layer (20) formed between the base material (10) and the corrosion-resistant coating (30). The base material (10) contains a main element which is an element having the highest mass content ratio among elements contained in the base material (10) and a trace element which is an element having a mass content ratio of 1% by mass or less. The corrosion-resistant coating (30) contains at least one kind selected from magnesium fluoride, aluminum fluoride, and aluminum oxide. The buffer layer (20) contains an element of the same kind as the trace element, and the content ratio obtained by energy dispersive X-ray analysis of the element of the same kind as the trace element contained in the buffer layer (20) is 2% by mass or more and 99% by mass or less.

    摘要: Problem to be Solved
To provide an alumina sintered body, abrasive grains, and a grinding wheel having high hardness and excellent wear resistance.
    Solution
Provided is an alumina sintered body including an inner layer in which alumina crystal grains contained have an average aspect ratio of 1.0 to 2.0 and an outer layer which covers at least a part of the inner layer from outside and in which alumina crystal grains contained have an average aspect ratio of more than 2.0, the alumina sintered body being free from silicon except unavoidable impurities.

摘要: Provided are electrofused alumina grains excellent in grinding performance and a production method of such electrofused alumina grains, and a grinding stone and a coated abrasive using the electrofused alumina grains. The electrofused alumina grains of the present invention contain titanium and magnesium. The production method for the electrofused alumina grains includes the steps of: preparing a mixture material by mixing an alumina material, a titanium compound and a magnesium compound, forming an ingot from the mixture material according to an electrofusing process, grinding the ingot to prepare a ground powder, size-regulating the ground powder to have a predetermined grain size to prepare size-regulated grains, and heating the size-regulated grains at a heating temperature of 1,000° C. or higher to give electrofused alumina grains. The grinding stone contains the electrofused alumina grains. The coated abrasive contains the electrofused alumina grains.
