摘要： Data characterizing a plurality of players and a wager amount for each player can be received. Each player is enrolled in a third party skills based digital gaming competition. An amount of funds previously deposited by the respective player is secured for each player, using an online skills based digital game wagering platform. The secured funds are equal to the wager amount. The funds can be secured such that they cannot be transferred, withdrawn, or secured for a different wager. Data characterizing a confirmation that each of the plurality of players funds were successfully secured is transmitted. Targeted advertising is described.
